Carole Sabiston is a Victoria Canadian based fibre artist who constructs large scale wall-hangings theatre sets and costumes. Sabiston was born in England immigrating to Canada in 1948 with her parents. She studied Fine Art at the University of British Columbia and at the University of Victoria

For the past 30 years she has created major commissions for public and commercial buildings as well as for private collections in Canada Panama England Spain and the United States. The assemblage medium she has explored in her career is closely linked to the twentieth century invention of collage a medium based on destruction and reconstruction

Her innovative creations have been widely exhibited across Canada in galleries and museums.
